So, hands up, I’ve just stolen this from an interview/masterclass with Gary Oldman (referred to by my brother as Gary Old Man – and now I can’t think of him any other way). I believe – although it was not clear – that he was talking about the process for preparing for a role. I think this level of self-awareness has universal value.
